Monster Blanket

Yarn
In 2015 I received for Christmas a yarn ball winder. Before I got a chance to do anything with it, my kid turned it into the latest toy and had rewind my cotton yarn into these colorful balls of yarn. I thought it would be wonderful to somehow use it and knit a blanket. I already had monster fabric for the bottom and somehow I wanted to combine everything together.
It took some time to knit everything and create monsters for the blanket.

Also, I asked my mom, whom is an expert in sewing to help me.

And yes she did sew all of the knitted pieces onto the fleece blanket by hand!

Here it is - The Monster Blanket :)

Knitting Pattern for Square One Scarf

Square One Scarf
Square One Scarf is another pattern that I created for IDP program at Knitpicks. I have used their lovely Preciosa Tonal Worsted yarn in Blue Skies and Pokeberry colors.
The scarf is knit flat in garter stitch. Direction of the knitting changes, thus creating an interesting element. The smaller colorful squares give an extra boost of bright color.

You can purchase the pattern in my Ravelry store, or by clicking on this button:

or on Knitpicks website along with the yarn for your project.
