This is Monster Al and his friend Little Blue Bear.
Monster Al loves Little Blue Bear.
Al plays with Little Blue Bear.
Al eats his meals with Little Blue Bear.
Al reads with Little Blue Bear.
Al sleeps with Little Blue Bear.
Little Blue Bear is Al's BEST friend ever.
Monster Al is very brave.
Al is not afraid of sharks.
Al is not afraid of snakes.
Al is not afraid of the dentist.
And Al is not afraid of humans.
However, Monster Al was afraid of one thing......
........MICE!!!!
One day Al and Little Blue Bear played hide and seek.
While they were playing Al's mom called:
"It's time to go to Grandma's Birthday Party."
In the rush to get to the Birthday Party Al forgot all about Little Blue Bear.
Little Blue Bear was hiding in a particularly good hiding place.
He waited, and waited, and waited. Then he called: "Al?!!"
When Al did not come to get him he began to cry.
Mouse family heard Little Blue Bear weep.
Flip and Flop left their nest to see who was crying.
They found Little Blue Bear sitting in his particularly good hiding place.
Flip and Flop invited Little Blue Bear to stay with them.
When Al returned from Grandma's Birthday Party he suddenly realized he had forgotten all about Little Blue Bear.
Al looked for Little Blue Bear everywhere.
Al looked under the bed.
Al looked inside the closet.
Al looked behind all the doors.
Al looked outside the house.
While Al was searching for Little Blue Bear in the garden, he saw two mice.
Al was frightened.
The mice asked him: "What's wrong?"
Al looked at them and said: "I lost my friend Little Blue Bear."
"Oh, we know where he is. Come with us." The mice replied.
Al followed the mice to their nest.
When he saw Little Blue Bear, he was very happy.
With the help of Flip and Flop, two mice, Al found his lost friend Little Blue Bear.
Al also learned.........
That he doesn't need to be afraid of mice.
Now, Al and Little Blue Bear
play with Flip and Flop.
Al and Little Blue Bear eat together with Flip and Flop.
Al and Little Blue Bear read with Flip and Flop.
Al, Little Blue Bear, Flip, and Flop are good friends.
The End.

Yikes! What was Monster Al afraid of.....I cannot figure out how to turn the page. Have you thought about self-publishing your book on Amazon as an e-book?

very nice Stana. I have toyed with the idea of having a book for some of the toys I donate. I love the way you did your book ; )
ReplyDeleteHello and thank you for your kind words.
DeleteI really enjoyed creating this story and I had such a great reactions from children to whom I read the story, so I wanted to give the opportunity for other's to read the story as well.
I think it is great idea to create a story about the toys you donate. Good luck with that project.

I love your book! Monster is wonderful and every good monster needs a best friend. Monster Al SHOULD be afraid of snakes, though. Especially now that he is friends with Flip and Flop. Snakes eat mice, oh noooo!
ReplyDeleteHello,
DeleteThank you very much for your kind words :)
Monster Al is an adventure loving monster :)
I have created another story about Monster Al and his friends. It was my BA Creative writing Thesis project.
