Future monster's blanket |
I hope everyone had wonderful time with their families and friends over the holidays.
The past year in my knitting world was very interesting. I have accomplished a lot, an E-book with 31 patterns, three of my patterns were published in three knitting patterns collection books and many other patterns that were published in my Ravelry store or on Knitpicks website. I am very happy and proud about these achievements.
Anyway, it's another year and time to move on, and keep on knitting.
Finally, after many years of thinking about it, I have a yarn ball winder, and I do not need other people's hands or chairs to hold my skein of yarns. Ever since I have received the winder my child has been playing with it, and small remnants of yarns has been rewind into giant colorful skeins. I have been thinking about making a monster's blanket and decided to use these colorful skeins for the blanket. I think it will be fun and colorful blanket once it's finished.
Also I have the first toy mystery KAL in my group on Ravelry. Don't forget to join us.

I was also asked to test knit a pattern for a fellow designer. Once the pattern is available I will add the link. It is wonderful pattern for an adorable snowman, and my finished sample will be donated to our library's summer reading program raffle prize.
