Knitting Pattern for Mice Bag

Mice bag
Ever since we got the puppy I have been thinking about cats. I was thinking that this bag might be a cat resembling bag, but when I posted the picture on FB everyone thought it was a mice bag. So I renamed the pattern as Mice Bag and continue to work on a bag with cats.

The finished bag is almost a square rather than rectangle, with 9.5" (24.5 cm) long sides, but the pattern offers an option for longer bag.

You will need one skein of grey yarn, I have used Knitpicks Mighty Stitch Worsted weight, and small amount of black, white and pink yarn. Also One small button as a nose and closure.

You can purchase the pattern in my Ravelry store or by clicking on this button:

Work in progress IV and Summer Reading Program

Library donation 2017
Every year our library have summer reading program for children to encourage reading. Children read and for every book they read (or the smaller one had read to them) they earn a raffle ticket. Volunteers and local businesses provides the prices children can win.

This year I gave the toys pictured above. I hope that whomever win the toys will love them. Sometimes when I visit the library I love to see the tickets in the container next to my knitted toys. It makes me feel happy to see that children are still interested in an old fashioned toys rather then electronics.

I was hoping to finish the minions and donate them as well, since the movie Despicable Me 3 is about to be released at the end of this month. But as you can see from the picture bellow, the minions are still work in progress......

Knitting Pattern for Cloudy Day Wrap

Cloudy Day Wrap
When I saw Knitpicks' Stroll Gradient yarn I wanted to create a wrap in shades from dark to light and back. The colorway Sea You Later was a perfect match. The pattern is fairly simple, worked flat mostly knit and purl stitches with braided cables in between columns of ribbing.
The colors make me think of late evening strolls along the beach, when the cooling breeze brings the smell of ocean and the faraway places I dream to visit one day....

The pattern is available now to purchase in my Ravelry store or by clicking on this button:
