Grace, toy mystery KAL

Grace
Last week I made some hand sketches of an animal I wanted to create as my next toy. I picked yarn, knitting needles and began to knit. Somehow  the face of Grace didn't resemble the original animal I sketched. So I started to pursue ideas behind this new toy. I thought it would be fun to have another toy mystery KAL.

I just released the first clue, and the next one will be available next week.
More details are on the pattern page:

Knitting Pattern for Otto, the Owl

Otto, the owl
Otto, was my first toy mystery KAL this year. As always everyone enjoyed it and the variety of cute owls that people made by following the clues is amazing.
The mystery part is over, but you can still knit your own owl.
The pattern is available in my store on Ravelry or you can purchase it by clicking on this button:

Otto, coloring contest
I have donated the two finished samples of Otto to our local library and the children can win the two toys by entering their colored owl pictures  into a coloring contest. The finished work of art will be used to decorate the children section of the library. I think it's a wonderful idea.

Here is a picture of all four owl patterns that I have created over the years, all done in fingering weight yarn. Pictured from left to right HelgaMirandaOllie, and Otto.

Knitting Pattern for Pavo Baby Blanket

Pavo Baby Blanket
The Pavo Baby Blanket is my second pattern that I used Knitpicks yarn Color Mist.
I just really enjoyed working with this yarn, and the colors are just great, it creates the marbled effect without using two strands of yarn.
A simple broken rib pattern, with I-cord edge in contrast color, the blanket is a square with 33" long sides.
You can purchase the pattern in my Ravelry store, or on Knitpicks website, where you can buy the yarn as well, or by simply clicking on this button:

Ella, the elephant with Pavo Blanket
Since I had some leftover yarn from the project, I used it to create an elephant. The pattern for Ella should be available shortly.
